Acne, in its various forms and modes of development, is among the most common dermatological diseases among each race and ethnic group. Many patients overcome the active disease phase in a fairly controlled manner, many others unfortunately will bear signs and significant scarring on the face and on other locations that may be involved, such as the anterior chest wall and the back. Today, these patients, who bear the signs acne with extreme suffering and distress, can be offered extremely effective solutions.
In particular, the most sophisticated treatments include ‘dermal resurfacing’ sessions with CO2 or Nd: Erb Laser or fractional CO2 Laser sessions. In the first case we will perform a real dermabrasion, with the effect of reducing the thickness of the skin in the areas between a scar and the other; with the fractional laser, on the other hand, the regenerative processes are also stimulated.
